USDT is the same coin on every network, but the network you send it on is not a detail. TRC-20 and BEP-20 have different addresses, different fees and different coins you need to pay those fees. Pick the network the casino shows in its cashier, check the address format and send a small test first. Do that and USDT is one of the fastest and simplest ways to fund a casino account.
What USDT, TRC-20 and BEP-20 mean
USDT (Tether) is a stablecoin designed to keep the value of one US dollar. That is why players use it instead of Bitcoin: your balance does not jump up and down while it sits in the casino. Tether issues USDT on several blockchains, and each version follows that network's token standard:
- TRC-20 is USDT on the Tron network.
- BEP-20 is USDT on BNB Smart Chain.
- ERC-20 is USDT on Ethereum, usually the most expensive to send.
The coin is worth the same on all of them, but the networks do not talk to each other. USDT sent on Tron arrives only at a Tron address.
TRC-20 vs BEP-20 at a glance
| TRC-20 (Tron) | BEP-20 (BNB Smart Chain) | |
|---|---|---|
| Address looks like | Starts with T, 34 characters | Starts with 0x, 42 characters |
| Fee paid in | TRX | BNB |
| Confirmation | Seconds to a couple of minutes | Seconds to a couple of minutes |
| Same address format as Ethereum | No | Yes, which makes mix-ups with ERC-20 easier |
Both networks are fast enough for casino use. In practice the time you wait is the number of confirmations the casino requires plus its own processing, not the network itself.
Which one is cheaper
It depends on where you send from. From an exchange, you pay the exchange's withdrawal fee, which is shown before you confirm and is different for each network. Compare the two numbers on the withdrawal screen and pick the lower one, as long as the casino accepts that network. From your own wallet, you pay the network fee in its native coin: you need some TRX in the wallet to send USDT on Tron and some BNB to send it on BNB Smart Chain. A wallet with USDT but no TRX or BNB cannot send anything.
Also check the casino's minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal for crypto. A small withdrawal can lose a noticeable share to fees.

How to deposit USDT at a casino without mistakes
- Open the cashier, choose USDT and select the network there. The casino generates an address for that network only.
- Check the format: an address for TRC-20 starts with T, an address for BEP-20 starts with 0x.
- On your exchange or wallet, choose exactly the same network as the casino.
- Copy and paste the address. Never type it by hand, and compare the first and last characters after pasting.
- If the cashier shows a memo or tag, include it.
- Send a small test amount first, wait until it shows in your balance, then send the rest.
What happens if you use the wrong network
Between Tron and BNB Smart Chain the addresses look completely different, so most wallets refuse the transfer. The dangerous case is between networks that share the 0x format, such as BEP-20 and ERC-20. The transfer goes through, but the casino's system does not see it. Sometimes support can recover the funds, sometimes it cannot, and it depends entirely on the casino. If it happens, contact the casino with the transaction ID and nobody else. People who offer "recovery services" and ask for your seed phrase are scammers.
Withdrawing USDT
Withdrawals work the same way in reverse: enter your own address and pick the matching network. Licensed casinos still verify your identity before the first withdrawal, even with crypto, so complete the verification early. Once the USDT reaches your exchange, you can convert it to MXN, CLP, COP or another local currency, keeping in mind the exchange's conversion fee.
