Lightning Baccarat by Evolution

Lightning Baccarat is Evolution's electrified take on classic punto banco, broadcast live from a purpose-built studio with a professional dealer, an 8-deck shoe and the trademark Lightning Cards that fuel every round. The game keeps the familiar Banker, Player and Tie bets while layering a multiplier system on top, pushing the headline RTP to 98.76% on Banker and giving every spin the chance to print a memorable win.

How the gameplay works

Each round follows standard baccarat rules: you back Banker, Player or Tie before the dealer draws two cards per side, with a third card dealt according to the punto banco drawing rules. Bets run from $1 to $500, side bets are open on Player Pair, Banker Pair, Either Pair and Perfect Pair, and the round resolves in well under a minute thanks to Evolution's slick streaming setup.

Lightning Cards and the 20% Lightning Fee

Before the cards are dealt, an RNG strikes between one and five Lightning Cards from the 52-card rank pool. Each chosen rank is tagged with a random multiplier of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 8x. If those ranks land in the winning hand, the multipliers attached to them are applied to your payout. To fund this upside, every stake carries a 20% Lightning Fee on top of the wager itself — bet $10 and the table deducts $12.

How multipliers stack to 262,144x

When more than one Lightning Card appears in a winning hand, the multipliers are multiplied together rather than added. A three-card 8x x 8x x 8x combination on Banker or Player tops out at 512x. The eye-watering 262,144x ceiling is reserved for Tie hands, where up to six Lightning Cards can chain (8 to the sixth power equals 262,144), turning a small Tie stake into a life-changing payout in the rarest of scenarios.

Side bets

The four optional pair bets sit around the main betting layout and pay when the opening two cards of the relevant hand form a pair. Player Pair and Banker Pair pay 11:1, Either Pair pays 5:1 and Perfect Pair (matching rank and suit) pays 25:1. Lightning multipliers do not apply to side bets, but the 20% Lightning Fee does.

Mobile experience

The live stream is encoded for desktop, tablet and mobile in both portrait and landscape, with adaptive bitrate and a simplified mobile layout that keeps the multiplier table, bet history and chip rail in easy reach on any modern smartphone browser.
