How Aviator Works

Aviator is a crash game developed by Spribe. At its core, it is a multiplier-based crash game where each round starts with a plane taking off and a multiplier beginning to climb from 1.00x upwards. The animation is purely visual — the outcome is determined before the round starts. Rounds last between 8 and 30 seconds. The player's objective is to click the cashout button at any point while the multiplier is still rising. If the plane flies away before cashout is triggered, the bet is lost.

Betting and Cashout Mechanics

Aviator supports a dual bet feature, allowing two simultaneous bets per round of up to $100 each, as well as auto-cashout at a preset multiplier. Each bet can be cashed out independently, which means a player can set one bet to auto-cashout at a low multiplier for consistency while manually managing the second for a higher target. Minimum and maximum bet limits may vary by casino operator.

  • Manual Cashout: The player clicks the cashout button at any point during a live round to lock in the current multiplier.
  • Auto Cashout: A target multiplier is set before the round begins. The bet is automatically cashed out if and when that multiplier is reached.
  • Dual Bet: Two independent bets can be placed simultaneously within the same round, each with its own cashout setting.
  • Free Bets: Some casino operators offer free bet bonuses that can be used within Aviator, subject to individual platform terms.

Multiplier Growth and Distribution

The multiplier can crash instantly at 1.00x or climb past 100x. The key probability formula is P(reaching multiplier m) = 0.97 / m, meaning approximately 52% of rounds crash below 1.5x, 48.5% reach 2.0x, and only about 0.97% reach 100x or higher. About 3% of all rounds crash instantly at 1.00x — this is the mathematical mechanism through which the house edge is implemented. The theoretical maximum multiplier is 1,000,000x.

This is a medium volatility game with a 97.00% theoretical return-to-player percentage (RTP). Medium volatility means the distribution sits between frequent small wins and rare large payouts, with no guaranteed floor above 1.00x on any given round.

Special Features

Provably Fair Verification

Aviator by Spribe uses a Provably Fair system. The round outcome is generated by combining a server seed from the casino, client seeds from the first three players to bet, and a nonce (round counter). These are hashed using SHA-256, and the resulting hash is converted to a multiplier. Players can verify any round after it ends. Using three client seeds means the outcome depends on multiple independent participants — no single party, not the casino, not Spribe, and not any individual player, can control the result alone.

Social and Multiplayer Elements

The social element is part of the appeal: players can watch other players' bets and cashouts in real time. The game combines Provably Fair technology with social features including live chat, community leaderboards, and real-time betting feeds that create a multiplayer environment.

  • Live Bet Feed: All active bets and cashouts from other players are visible during each round.
  • Live Chat: In-game chat is available at supported casinos.
  • Round History: Recent multiplier results are displayed on-screen for reference.
  • Provably Fair Verifier: After a round ends, players can click the Green Shield icon in Aviator's interface, copy the server seed, three client seeds, and nonce, concatenate them and hash with SHA-512 using any free online tool, and confirm whether the hash matches — verifying the round was not tampered with.
