Frequently Asked Questions

What is live roulette?
Live roulette is the same game you'd play at a physical casino, streamed in real time from a professional studio. A human dealer handles real cards/wheel/dice while you bet from a chips panel — multiple players join the same table over the stream.
What's the RTP on live roulette tables?
Depends on the table and the bet. Most live roulette variants publish RTP between 96% and 99.5%. Side bets typically run lower than the main game. We list the exact RTP for each table on its individual page.
Can I play live roulette for free?
True live tables don't have demo mode — real dealers cost real money to run. Some studios (mostly Evolution) offer First Person RNG variants that you CAN play solo. We mark which titles have demos right on each game card.
Is live roulette mobile-friendly?
Yes. Every modern live roulette table from Tier-1 studios (Evolution, Pragmatic Live, Playtech, Ezugi) supports both portrait and landscape on iOS and Android. A 5 Mbps connection is enough for 720p.
What are the minimum bets at live roulette tables?
Lowest tables start from $0.10–$1 depending on the title; high-limit / VIP rooms can require $25 or more per round. The min-bet value is shown on every table card.
Where can I play live roulette from Latin America?
All casinos in our Where-to-Play list accept players from Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Peru. PIX is the fastest deposit rail for BR; crypto works everywhere in LATAM.

About Live Roulette

Live Roulette — Quick Overview

Live Roulette is the most-played live-casino game category worldwide. A real wheel, a real ball, a human croupier — streamed in HD from purpose-built studios. You bet on numbers (1-36), zero, colours, dozens, columns or even/odd. European wheels (single zero) are the default at every Tier-1 studio; American wheels (double zero) are rare in LATAM-licensed casinos because of the worse house edge.

How Live Roulette works

A physical wheel with 37 pockets (European) or 38 (American). The croupier spins the wheel in one direction and releases the ball in the opposite direction; the ball loses speed and drops into a numbered pocket. Bets are placed on the table-felt layout before the betting timer closes. Inside bets: straight-up (1 number, 35:1), split (2 numbers, 17:1), street (3, 11:1), corner (4, 8:1), six-line (6, 5:1). Outside bets: red/black, even/odd, 1-18/19-36 (all 1:1), dozens and columns (2:1).

Strategy and bankroll

No betting system beats the house edge in the long run. The mathematically best bet is European outside (red/black, even/odd) at 1.35% house edge with La Partage rule, 2.70% without. Inside bets give bigger prizes but compound losses faster. For multiplier variants like Lightning or Mega Roulette: only bet straight-up on numbers that received multipliers that round — random straight-up betting at the reduced 29:1 payout is worse than playing standard European.

Bankroll: 30-50x the table minimum is comfortable for 100+ rounds on outside bets. For inside bets and multiplier hunting, 100x minimum is safer.

RTP and house edge

European Roulette: 97.30% RTP / 2.70% house edge. French Roulette with La Partage on even-money bets: 98.65% / 1.35% — the best roulette RTP in the studio. American Roulette: 94.74% / 5.26% — avoid. Multiplier variants: outside bets keep 97.30%, straight-up drops to 96.50%-97.10% depending on studio, with the upside that one struck multiplier can return 50x-2,000x your stake.

Where to play Live Roulette in LATAM

Our Where-to-Play list filters for casinos carrying Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech and Ezugi with active LATAM licensing (Curaçao, Anjouan, MGA). Brazilian players: PIX deposits hit balances in seconds, withdrawals 10-30 minutes. Mexican players: SPEI for fiat, USDT for fastest cashouts. Chile/Argentina/Colombia/Peru: bank cards and crypto rails work universally.

Mobile play

Every live roulette table on this page runs HTML5 on iOS and Android in both portrait and landscape. Portrait stacks the croupier feed on top with the bet panel below; landscape gives a fuller view that better captures the wheel spin. Minimum 5 Mbps connection for stable 720p; 10+ Mbps for 1080p.

Conclusion

Live Roulette is the easiest category for live-casino beginners — no card-game knowledge required, slow enough pacing to think between rounds, and a wide RTP spread (94.74% American up to 98.65% French La Partage) that lets players choose their preferred risk profile. Start with European outside bets at 97.30% RTP, then explore multiplier variants once you understand the bet panel.
